- Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE-60seats)
The sky is no longer a limit for Computer Industry. With requirement of software professionals doubling every 6 months, responding to the quickly changing market demands and keeping in mind the ever changing requirement of IT Industry, DITE has been coming up with innovative schemes to make Computer Education “learner friendly” in its approach & more professional in its implementation by constantly updating the curriculum to suit the current market requirements.
The state of the art, air – conditioned central Computer Center of DITE, is equipped and networked with HCL Pentium IV Computers each with 500 MB RAM and 80 GB hard disk to cater to the academic need of the student.
The network environment is through Server 2003, providing client-server architecture and facilitating resource sharing. HCL Net Manager Servers with Intel Xeon processor supporting the Network of more than 60 PCs.
The software packages include Microsoft Visual Basic. NET (version 2003), Visual Basic, ORACLE 9i with developer 2000, C, C++, AutoCAD 2003, , Window XP, MS – Office 2003, Multimedia, etc. Instant high speed ISDN Internet access is provided for 24 hours Internet connectivity & Interactive Video conferencing. HI – tech accessories like multimedia projector, CD writer, Video – Conferencing systems, CCTV camera, Cooler flat Bed scanner, Web camera & CD server etc. are part of the modern centre, which enables students to learn while sharpening their skills on latest Technologies. Electronic LIBRARY (Internal and online) is also being installed from this session.
The department also organizes technical activities such as seminars, paper presentation, quiz, short – term course etc., so that there is overall development of the students.
We have excellent Faculty members with both Industrial and Academic experience, from premier organizations and also few Experts, as a part of us for guest lecturing, coming from reputed Institute, like IIT, NIT etc.
Very well equipped laboratories support the department for all the subjects with state – of – art – facility and technology. There are above 60 Computers, including latest P 4 processors from HCL Corporation. The department has all the required software packages to run the practical class as per University curriculum.

- Department Of Information Technology (IT-60seats)
The collection, compilation and conversion of raw data into useful information and its transformation in to knowledge towards the future benefits of all human endeavors has been at the core of every community activities.
The rapid pace of technological advance in computer science and engineering has managed to create and achieve the instantaneous flow of information that knowledge's no boundaries set by geography, polity, ideology, or economics.
Information has a multiplicity of application and uses. To humankind the greatest rewards of this millennium are the almost unfettered availability of information to all at affordable price. Today, one has the choice of accessing a variety of information sources. it is easily accessible and conveniently available , and the growth and an almost pervasive spread of information has , is , and shall, increasingly benefit humankind this is now believed university beyond any shadow of doubt.
The requirement now is a rationalizing and harnessing of this immeasurable valuable resource in order that its power is gainfully utilized with optimal effectiveness and efficiency.

- Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering(ECE-60seats)
Every period in human history has witnessed dissemination of Information, control of a process to assure consistency and transmission in receiving data and its processing while maintaining its integrity. It is very difficult to talk about expertise because life long learning is the requirement that every professional must have. We have to be perpetually a seeker of knowledge to update our skills. Our division of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control & Communication Engineering while teaching various subjects, also assures that each student has a solid foundation on which to build upon throughout their professional carrier. At DBIT we make it our routine business to supplement our student’s knowledge base through distinguished seminars and workshop to fill and bridge the gaps traditional teaching leaves. It is this attitude that brings confidence in our students which motivates them to keep enhancing their skills in emerging technologies and their applications.
At DBIT we have few Industry firsts specified laboratories like the following:-
• VLSI – Digital System Design Laboratories
We teach all aspects of VLSI technology including CMOS, Virology, VHDL as a means to express design and the entire design protocol. This would include design verification, test generation and testability issues and the complete turnkey process. Signal processing lab is very well equipped with TIC54X/ C55X series processor and Analog devices visual DSP development kit. We are constantly encouraging our students and faculty to supplement and learn skills in this field. This skill would guarantee them a career in multinational companies such as IBM, INTEL, HP and the like.
• Computer Architecture / Parallel Processing laboratory
This laboratory provides a forum for advanced studies in this field and every effort is made to bring the result with additional learning in the classrooms.
• Optical Fiber and SONET Design
This is the latest area of advanced studies and research that has been incorporated in this division. We need not emphasis how relevant it is to prepare Engineers for modern jobs.
• Coordinates Science Laboratory
Using University Illinois model this research faculty brings together Engineers, Physicists and Mathematicians at DBIT to participate in research.
